The Children’s Day Out program takes 3-month-old babies through early threes and our preschool has classes for three years old (by Sept. 1^st) through Kindergarten.

Information for all our programs can be found on the table outside the Weekday School office or contact the Director at 706-733-8102 (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. til 1 p.m.).

Covenant Presbyterian Weekday School is one of Augusta's first early childhood programs. It is an extension of Covenant Presbyterian Church, USA, and is overseen by the Preschool Ministry Team a church committee which offers support to the staff and parents.

Kindergarten
Mon.-Fri. 9:00-1:00
Our half-day program meets the rules and regulations as required by the State of Georgia. Our teacher is state certified and will help prepare each child for entrance into any first grade program.

Four Year Olds
3 days/weekly (M,W,F)
4 days/weekly (M - Th.)
All five days
Our pre-kindergarten curriculum is designed for four year olds to provide a variety of experiences, based on the knowledge that children learn by doing. The goals are to help each child explore the world about him, develop small motor skills, grow in language ability, and help develop a positive self image.

Our three-year-old curriculum consists of activities of play with carefully selected materials to provide opportunities for each child to explore, learn and enjoy his/her world. Art experiences, music, stories, and playground time are a regular part of our program. Name recognition, letters, numbers, shapes, and colors are reinforced.

Children's Day Out
Monday -Thursday 9am-1pm
3 mo.- 2 yrs. old 1-2 days/weekly
2&3 yrs. old 1-4 days weekly
Our children's Day out program provides a loving, Christian environment for babies and toddlers. Our facility is clean and safety conscious with age appropriate toys that are washed on a regular basis. We also have staff members who are Red Cross trained in infant CPR.
There is daily playground time (weather permitting) for toddlers in a well-supervised and enclosed playground. Toddlers also attend a weekly music class and chapel time and art activities are frequent. Each child brings a lunch which is eaten in the classroom. Diapers are changed regularly.
