Wednesday Night Fellowship

During the school year, everyone is invited to join us for Wednesday Night Fellowship. We have a catered meal that is served by one of our many ministry teams on a rotation schedule, which is followed by programs. The children have the opportunity to participate in a variety of choirs followed by some time for recreation and story. The adult programs range from Bible studies to hot topic discussions. We also have a Prayer Shawl Ministry that meets together in the gathering area following supper almost every Wednesday. They prepare prayer shawls, baby blankets, chemo caps, and knitted items for our shut-ins.

WNF Schedule
5:15 – 6:30 Supper (call the church office by Tuesday 11:00AM to make your reservations)
6:00 – 7:00 Children’s music programs followed by age appropriate fellowship activities
6:00 – 7:00 Adult programs

Cost for Supper is $7.00 for adults and $4.00 for children with a family cap at $18.00

Special WNF Programs through the year

Hanging of the Greens
After supper on the Wednesday after Thanksgiving, we come together in fellowship and fun as we adorn the church with the colors of the season of Advent. When everything is hung and placed just right, we return to the fellowship hall for dessert and singing.

Christmas Musical Program
In early Advent, a program during Wednesday Night Fellowship is dedicated to the many musical gifts of Covenant, with selections from the varied choral and bell choirs as well as individual members sharing a special song or two.

Christmas Caroling
Just before Christmas, we divide into groups to travel in different parts of the community to sing Christmas carols to our shut ins and others who need an extra dose of cheer. Our Congregational Care Ministry prepares gift baskets that we leave with those we visit. After we complete our rounds, we enjoy a meal out together at a local restaurant. This program is a highlight of the year for all, especially the children.

Vespers Services
We hold three vespers services during significant times throughout the year:
Thanksgiving (Wednesday before Thanksgiving)
Ash Wednesday (Beginning of Lent)
Spy Wednesday (during Holy Week)
