Local and Global Mission Opportunities
Presbyterian Women participate in the Fellowship of the Least Coin. Christian women around the world collect the least coins of their monetary system. Grants are given to support ecumenical projects and organizations worldwide.
The Thank Offering occurs each fall. In 2011, twenty-six projects were funded with grants totaling $623,873. Forty percent of these projects support health ministries throughout the world.
Spring is when the Birthday Offering is collected. Since it first began in 1922 more than $29,000,000 has been given in support of mission projects around the world.
We participate in the Santa Claus Express and Angel Ornament Gifts before Christmas. Items collected and monies sent help support the Presbyterian Homes of Georgia.
